VRF is normally serviced only by the contractor who installed it. When that company folds, loses its certification, or simply stops returning calls, the building is left with a six-figure system that nobody will touch.
The reason is that each manufacturer gates its diagnostic software and training. Being certified on one platform is common. Being certified on all three is not.
