Charging an EV is a continuous, immense thermal load on your electrical system. Using a standard wall outlet gives you ~3 miles of range per hour.
A Level 2 Charger (240V) can deliver up to 44 miles of range per hour. We offer two main installation paths:
- 1. Hardwired Stations (Recommended)
Units like the Tesla Wall Connector or ChargePoint Home Flex are wired directly into a dedicated 60-amp breaker. This eliminates the risk of melting outlet receptacles and delivers the fastest possible charge.
- 2. NEMA 14-50 Outlets
If you prefer a plug-in charger, we install commercial-grade, heavy-duty 240V receptacles designed specifically to withstand continuous EV loads without overheating.
No Room in Your Panel?
If your electrical panel is full, you don't always need a $4,000 panel upgrade just to charge your car.
We specialize in installing Smart Load Management Devices (like DCC or SimpleSwitch). These intelligent modules monitor your home's total power usage. If you turn on your AC, oven, and dryer at the same time, it pauses the EV charger, preventing an overload. Once the appliances turn off, it resumes charging your car perfectly.
