Why Your Breakers Keep Tripping

If your home was built before 1990, it likely has a 100-amp (or even 60-amp) electrical panel. Today, a single Level 2 EV charger can draw 40 amps by itself.

When you overload a panel, breakers trip. Worse, outdated panels (like Zinsco or Federal Pacific) have known manufacturing defects where the breakers fail to trip during an overload, melting wires and causing severe fire hazards behind your drywall.
